Sage Alia Clemenco
Community Initiatives Project Associate
Phone: (607) 255-0094
Email: sac75@cornell.edu

As our Community Initiatives Project Associate, Sage offers support to students looking for volunteer opportunities, advises the Engaged Ambassadors and Certificate of Community-Engaged Leadership and can assist campus and community partners as they articulate their service needs and goals.

Sage comes to the Einhorn Center as an engagement specialist and community-based artist, facilitator, and educator with a particular passion for the places where art and community intersect. Before returning home to Ithaca, Sage most recently worked as a staff and Ensemble member at Cornerstone Theater Company in Los Angeles, supporting playwrights and communities as they worked together to create moving and meaningful art. She has designed and implemented curricula for the Cornerstone Institute and taught for a wide range of students from all over the country. Sage brings to the Einhorn Center an expertise in building programs and partnerships that are responsive to community need, grow out of community assets and flourish from mutual respect and mentorship.

Quote that inspires Sage

“Don’t ask yourself what the world needs. Ask yourself what makes you come alive, and go do that, because what the world needs is people who have come alive.” —Howard Thurman
