The History Center in Tompkins County is a nonprofit research and cultural hub specializing in preserving and sharing the history of Tompkins County. The archivist manages the archives and research library, where archival collections are preserved and made accessible to researchers. The student would be responsible for assisting the archivist in various tasks intended to facilitate better access to archival collections documenting the history of Tompkins County.
