The History Center is a generation to generation education and research center whose aim is to preserve the History in Tompkins County and help people use the tools of history to understand the past, gain perspective on the present and play an informed role in shaping the future.

Exhibit Hall docents are an integral part of THC community engagement. They are a knowledgeable, conversational and uplifting presence in the museum front in the Ithaca Commons.
