The Ultimate Reentry Opportunity Initiative is an organization that is working to eliminate systemic barriers to reentry and over incarceration in Tompkins County. Systemic change does not happen quickly; it’s a methodical process that requires engaging with local government, non-profit agencies and the private sector.

The Community Engagement Program Assistant will work with the URO Director and Staff, Volunteers and interns to engage these stakeholders. You will work collectively to devise strategies to increase stakeholder buy-in as well as to increase the organization’s capacity by assisting with administrative activities as well as to organize student volunteers from Cornell University, Ithaca College and Tompkins County Community College.
