The Ultimate Reentry Opportunity Initiative is an organization that is working to eliminate systemic barriers to reentry and over incarceration in Tompkins County. Systemic change does not happen quickly, it’s a methodical process that requires engaging with local government, non-profit agencies and the private sector to shift culture in a more equitable and inclusive direction. The community engagement program assistant will assist URO staff with a variety of tasks including gathering information, conducting research and crafting documents and reports.
