Weekly Hours

Civic Ensemble is celebrating 10 years of engaging the local community in creating theatre the explores pressing questions and concerns.

The theatrical production associate will support the Civic Ensemble team in producing their newest community-based play, Fertile Grounds, working in the pre-production and community engagement aspects of the production, and then in the rehearsal room as the assistant director of the play.

The role is a balance of artistic, programmatic and administrative duties that will complement study in theatre, community organizing, youth development, social justice or other such fields. The ideal candidate will have an interest in theatre arts, and the role of the arts in community-engaged work and social justice and will support skill-building for professional theatre.
