What is your favorite thing about POST? I loved the community of people I found! It was so much fun spending the week together exploring Ithaca and giving back to the community. Most of my close friends now are people I met at POST and participating in it has been one of my favorite decisions I’ve made in college so far.

Why did you choose to participate in POST? I was very involved in community service throughout high school and found out about POST through the Cornell Tradition Fellowship. It sounded like an interesting program and I wanted to meet some people with similar interests before classes began. I was very nervous about going to a college far from home without knowing many people, but POST was a way to meet new people and make the transition easier.

What is your favorite thing about Cornell? The campus is so beautiful! I love the natural beauty of the gorges and the varying architecture across campus. Despite the hills, I love walking from class to class and admiring my surroundings.

What other programs/activities are you involved with? I have a job on campus in Lincoln Hall and I have a research position in a neurobiology lab. Additionally, I am in Alpha Phi Omega (the service fraternity), Phi Delta Epsilon (the premed fraternity), C-CAMP (a mentoring club for adopted children), Women in Computing at Cornell, and I’m a Cornell Traditions Fellow as well as an Arts & Sciences Ambassador.
