The Youth-Led Media for Social Justice project team is reaching across programs, disciplines and colleges to create a network of faculty, staff, students, alumni and partners that centers youth voices by any media necessary in any space necessary. The team’s long-term goal is to give youth greater access to resources to connect, collaborate and express themselves around social justice issues.

With a one-year Public Issue Network Grant, the team is building upon a 4-H project in Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County and identifying allies from Cornell and affiliates who are doing similar work in media design, technology and the humanities. These allies will contribute their methodologies and focus to strengthen the work to raise awareness and visibility and engage youth about anti-racism and social justice.
