The Community Partnership Funding Board (CPFB), a student organization, seeks to foster leadership and social responsibility by encouraging students to take action against social problems. The CPFB assists students in developing grassroots community action projects and administers grants from the Community Partnership Fund to make these projects possible. Up to $2,500 per project per year is available in funding. The Community Partnership Funding Board, funded projects, and community agency partners make up the Community Partnership. Together change is possible!
The funding cycle begins in the fall semester. Through written applications and interviews, the CPFB makes funding decisions based on its philosophy statement. All funding decisions are made before the end of the fall semester. In the spring, all funded organizations are honored at a reception where they are asked to present a summary and progress report of their project.
