POST Team Leader

College: Engineering / Cornell Tradition Fellow

Major: Chemical Engineering

Why did you choose to be a POST Team Leader?

I wanted to be a POST team leader because of my meaningful experience in POST this past summer and my commitment to community service. Entering my first year at Cornell, POST allowed me the opportunity to form close friendships that have carried into the academic school year, connect with upperclassmen who have become supportive mentors and friends, and engage with and familiarize with Ithaca and its community members. In addition, I have always been passionate about community service. I have worked extensively with younger students through volunteer tutoring, the Honeycomb Leadership Corps where I led community service projects for families with children, and Gear2Give, where I worked with children in Chicago’s Chinatown to improve access to sports equipment. I love having the opportunity to continue and combine these experiences by supporting the next incoming class of Cornell students.
