Cornell Ann S. Bowers College of Computing and Information Science

Collaborating to move technology, humanity and society forward as one

Cornell Bowers started as a bold experiment that united the creation of new technology with a deeper understanding of the interplay of technology with humanity. The college recognizes that emerging technology — including AI — is transforming society and embraces the opportunity to help guide and amplify that change. Community-engaged learning plays an important role in helping faculty and students foster new understandings, ethical approaches and forward-looking technologies. A wide range of extracurricular activities allows students to explore how best to share and co-create innovations with communities around Ithaca and the world.
