Are you a community partner who supervises or works closely with Cornell students?
Attend the annual Notice and Respond: Assisting Students in Distress training, hosted by Cornell Health’s Skorton Center for Health Initiatives. This interactive virtual workshop will help you recognize and respond to signs of student distress.
Through a brief film scenario and guided discussion, you’ll learn:
- How to identify and support students in distress
- When and how to ask directly about suicide
- Key mental health resources on campus and beyond
- Strategies to encourage help-seeking behaviors
These tools not only support your student employees but can be applied to others in your life who may be struggling.
Date & Time: Thursday, November 12th | 10:30 – 11:45 AM
