Liz Millhollen, director of the Einhorn Center’s Upward Program, and Beth Sprankle, parent of an Upward Bound alumna, joined Cornell’s Office of Community Relations assistant director Kate Supron on the All Things Equal radio program on July 8. During the episode, Millhollen talks about the history and current programming for the federally funded high school pre-college support program. Sprankle describes the benefits and impacts that the program had on her daughter who graduated high school in 2021, earned her bachelor’s degree from SUNY Oneonta in 2025 and is continuing on to obtain her master’s degree this fall.
