The Einhorn Center is accepting applications for two student award celebrating outstanding community engagement.
The Robinson-Appel Humanitarian Awards celebrate and support undergraduate projects that address community interests, problems or needs. Three projects are selected each year to receive $2,500 to further community engagement work initiated and proposed by Cornell undergraduate students. The focus of the project’s efforts may be the Cornell campus, the Ithaca community or a location outside of Tompkins County (but within the United States and its territories).
The Maribel Garcia Community Spirit Award honors students making remarkable, creative contributions to the spirit of humanity. Open to all Cornell students, this annual award honors the memory of dearly missed Cornell alum Maribel Garcia ’95, a vital friend and a creative, inspiring and energetic member of her community. A $1,000 prize comes in the award.
Applications for both awards are due February 10, 2025.
