Bethany supports student run programs at the Einhorn Center through comprehensive advising and hands on guidance. She works closely with student leaders to help them strengthen their program, develop leadership skills, and navigate challenges as they plan and implement community engaged initiatives. In addition to advising, Bethany supervises program assistants, providing mentorship and ensuring that day to day operations run smoothly. Her role also includes advancing the broader mission and goals of student programs at the Einhorn Center, promoting meaningful community partnerships, fostering student leadership, and creating high impact learning experiences for everyone involved.
Bethany has previously served as the K–12 Program Coordinator at the Public Service Center and, before that, worked in the education department at the Sciencenter. As someone who was born and raised in Ithaca, and practically grew up on the Cornell campus, she brings a meaningful local perspective to her work. She loves using that background to support students, help them navigate local partnerships, and make their programs feel grounded and meaningful.
Before coming to Cornell, Bethany focused on informal science education for seven years. Most recently, she worked at the Sciencenter developing and facilitating early childhood programs, field trips, professional development workshops and adult events. Bethany was born and raised in Ithaca, NY, and is excited to continue her career with the Einhorn Center.
