R.J. joined the Einhorn Center in 2024 to oversee philanthropy and alumni engagement in support of the center’s community-engaged learning mission. They joined Cornell as an engagement officer in Alumni Affairs in 2022, working alongside more than 100 alumni volunteers to meaningfully connect Cornellians back to campus and it’s principle vision “to do the greatest good.”
Before transitioning to higher education, R.J. provided direct service and support to people in marginalized communities for ten years. They also managed development and operations for two local theatres from 2018 to 2022. In addition to their role at the Einhorn Center, R.J. is a matriculating student in the Cornell and Queen’s Universities Executive MBA Americas program.

I love meeting people and learning their stories – what drives them, and what they care about. Building trusting relationships with alumni, parents, and friends is the best part of my job.

In my spare time, I write, perform in, and produce plays and films.
My family is the best. I love hanging out with them, cracking jokes, and watching our pets do funny things.
