Ray Hage
Program Advisor, Science and Technology Entry Program (STEP)
Phone: (607) 279-1416
Email: rhage@cornell.edu

Ray advises Ithaca 7th-12th grade students who are underrepresented in STEM fields through STEP, a pre-college program that supports students’ career exploration and access to higher education. By meeting with students in their schools, facilitating college and career workshops, organizing college visits, attending conferences, connecting students with paid internships and jobs and supporting students throughout the college application process, STEP students are given opportunities to experiment with the future they want for themselves. Students’ social-emotional well-being and mental health is always prioritized and programming is organized through an anti-racist lens.
