POST Team Leader
Email: einhorncenter@cornell.edu

College: Arts and Sciences

Major: Environment and Sustainability

Why did you choose to be a POST Team Leader?

My team leaders were some of the first people I met at Cornell, and I still feel their support. As I got to know them, I knew that I wanted to be like them, someone new students could reach out to during their transition to a new school and period of their life. In high school, connecting with new students was a fun, rewarding, and deeply important part of my experience. I would always check in with my underclassmen friends, just as my upperclassmen friends taught me to do, and we would often hang out and exchange advice and opinions. I want to continue those experiences at Cornell through POST, and further cultivate these bonds after the program. Another reason why I want to serve as a Team Leader is that I care deeply about social justice and want to inspire others to hold and act on this principle. My appreciation for equitable action arose through just that–action–and I want to guide students in hands-on initiatives that can shift their perspectives and inspire them to pursue community-conscious programs throughout their time at Cornell.
