Cornell Bowers started as a bold experiment that united the creation of new technology with a deeper understanding of the interplay of technology with humanity. The college recognizes that the Information Age was transforming society and saw the potential to guide and amplify that change. Engaged learning plays an important role in helping faculty and students foster new understandings, ethical approaches and forward-looking technologies. A wide range of extracurricular activities allows students to explore how best to share and co-create innovations with communities around Ithaca and the world.
