Graduate and advanced undergraduate students
Approximately 12 hours over the semester
September 5, 2022
The CELT Facilitators Program prepares graduate and advanced undergraduate students to support faculty-taught community-engaged learning courses. The program welcomes energetic, creative and curious students looking to contribute to higher education’s public impact while deepening their own knowledge of community-engaged learning and teaching (CELT) all while honing their facilitation skills. After completing the program, participants will be qualified to serve in teaching assistant, course assistant, reflection facilitator and/or other teaching support roles at Cornell and beyond.
Participants join a cohort-model learning community supported by colleagues, Einhorn Center staff and online resources.
The program offers six online asynchronous modules and regular synchronous discussion groups. Participants are expected to complete all the online modules and attend at least six discussions (to be scheduled) in the fall semester totaling approximately 12 hours.
