Each Community Meet-Up is generally 60 minutes, with some workshops being 90 minutes. Drop-ins welcome. Stay as long as you can.
The Einhorn Center’s student Monday Meet-Ups occur most Mondays throughout the semester and present a variety of programming — including informal drop-in chats, ask-the-expert discussions with invited speakers, interactive skill-building workshops, training and practice sessions and general reflective discussions.
Have something you’d like to share or present at a future meet-up? Already have something ready to go? Or, just an idea? Contact einhorncenter@cornell.edu.
Connecting to an Audience with Confidence
How can you design and deliver clear and memorable presentations while also projecting calm and confidence? In this one-hour session, we’ll practice techniques from applied improvisational theater (“improv”) that can help you focus on connecting with others through movement, storytelling, and active listening. Come prepared to have fun, engage in small-group practice, and discuss our observations about effective communication strategies.
