In his current professional role at the Charter School Growth Fund, Demetrius Daltirus ’18 supports the overall investment process for philanthropic grants and impact debt across the East Coast, Mid-Atlantic, and Midwest. Prior to joining CSGF, Demetrius was a key lead in implementing innovative programming and practices at the Kent Denver School with a focus on entrepreneurship and financial literacy. Leveraging his background in finance as an investment banker, Demetrius has also spent time supporting the strategic planning and fundraising processes for various nonprofits in Colorado, such as Junior Achievement and Economic Literacy of Colorado. Currently, he is pursuing a Master of Science in Education at Johns Hopkins and is researching how educational technology can impact learning and transform the educational sector. As a former coach and collegiate player, Demetrius has a deep passion for mentoring students to and hopes to continue building network that provides opportunities to do so. Demetrius graduated from Cornell University with a BS in Industrial & Labor Relations and a minor in Business Administration.
