Bridging the Gap: Connecting Research and Policy
As assistant director for policy engagement with Cornell Project 2Gen, Elizabeth Day has extensive experience bridging research, practice and policy. She’s adept at supporting students in community-engaged learning projects and coursework and is now expanding her focus to include scholarly publications about this work. As a Faculty Fellow in Engaged Scholarship, she aims to share information about her community-engaged learning courses, the benefits and challenges of events she’s held with Albany policymakers and her process for engaging local policymakers.
