Gretchen Worth ’18 is the director of the Susan Christopherson Center for Community Planning, which works with communities across New York State on planning issues at the intersection of climate resiliency, equity and the built environment. She also serves on the board of Restoration Works International, RWI, which partners with communities to restore their important sites; through RWI, Gretchen has worked on projects in Mongolia, Nepal and India. She is an advisor to the Southeast Asian Cultural Heritage Alliance, SEACHA, an organization of cultural heritage organizations from the 10 ASEAN countries, which promotes community-government partnerships for effective cultural heritage management. Prior to returning to the US in 2016 to attend graduate school, Gretchen spent nearly 25 years in Asia as the founder and executive of an award-winning regional media company.
