What is your favorite thing about POST? My favorite thing about POST is being surrounded by other people who are also passionate about giving back to the community. I loved meeting new people who shared a lot of my interests and receiving advice from my leaders on how to best transition into Cornell. POST helped ease my stresses when beginning my first semester in college.

Why did you choose to participate in POST? Throughout high school, I enjoyed doing a lot of community service and knew I wanted to continue participating in service at college. I was also selected as a Cornell Tradition Fellow, so I thought POST was the perfect opportunity to begin helping out in the Ithaca community as well as prepare myself to begin college. I also wanted to meet more people before classes started and get familiar with the campus.

What is your favorite thing about Cornell? My favorite thing about Cornell is meeting people from all over the world who want to make a difference in society. I find myself feeling inspired every time I meet a new person and learning about their passions, experiences, and aspirations.

What other programs/activities are you involved with? Alpha Phi Omega, Christian Union, Cornell Latinx Association of Pre-laws, Cornell Minds Matter, Salsa Pa’lante Dance Troupe.
