René Kizilcec is a founding director of the Cornell Bowers CIS Future of Learning Lab, which examines where education and technology intersect. His research examines the use and impact of technology in formal and informal learning environments and scalable interventions to broaden participation and reduce achievement gaps. Kizilcec has been part of an informal advisory group on the creation of a new community-engaged human rights minor at Cornell, in addition to embedding engaged research applications into his Behavioral Sciences Intervention (INFO 4800) course.
