Shane Dunn ’07 is senior director of Development and Alumni Relations at Brandeis International Business School and has worked in a number of roles in both K-12 and higher education in Greater Boston. A native of Waterville, New York, he earned a BS in Communication with a minor in Inequality Studies from Cornell in 2007. He holds a masters degree in higher education administration from Boston College. Active in several alumni, civic, and political activities in Boston, Shane currently serves as Vice President of the Board of Directors of GLBTQ Legal Advocates & Defenders (GLAD), one of the nation’s most prominent and accomplished organizations in the LGBTQ+/civil rights space. Shane has served on the Mayor’s SPARK Boston Council in Boston, was a Fellow with Education Pioneers, and currently serves as founding co-chair of the Board of Trustees of South End nonprofit childcare center Ellis Early Learning. Since graduation, Shane has also been a devoted volunteer with Cornell, serving on a number of committees, boards, and councils. He is a life member of the Cornell University Council. Shane lives in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston with his wife Elizabeth Bernardi and two young children, Liam and Eleanor.
