This student worked for the American Lung Association’s South Florida office as a summer fellow. In this work, the student was tasked with ensuring the allocation of a $25 million fund launched to directly combat the coronavirus outbreak. In this work, the student engaged with the ongoing issue of the pandemic’s global impacts. The student aimed to increase the communication between the labs battling the coronavirus by fostering a space where the aims of the fund as a vaccine support mechanism were made clear.
