/ "Better Together for Mental Health" Community Celebration
This event will take place on Saturday, May 11th, from 11am – 3pm at Stewart Park in Ithaca, NY.
They need volunteer support throughout the day to make the celebration run smoothly. Volunteers are needed from 10am-4pm – you can sign up for a shift or for the full day. Volunteer duties may vary; typical volunteer activities would include:
- setting up signage at the start of the event
- assisting event performers and/or tabling organizations with set-up/break down
- handing out event schedules, bracelets and other handouts
- answering questions to curious community members happening upon the event while in the park
- stepping in to cover for a table if the organization’s representative needs a break
- being a friendly, helpful person to assist with unexpected needs throughout the day!
Expect additional follow-up details a few weeks prior to the event about your participation.
