Emily graduated from Cornell in 2020 with a B.A. in biological sciences and French. She served as a volunteer coordinator and later co-president for Encouraging Young Engineers and Scientists, or EYES. Emily has since moved to Seattle, where she attended the University of Washington and obtained an MPH in public health genetics. She now works for the Washington State Newborn Screening Program, coaches gymnastics and volunteers as a STEM mentor with Thriving Elements.
