
Neil Giacobbi ’96 is the assistant dean for external affairs at Cornell Tech. Neil leads strategic external collaborations, including communications and marketing, government and community affairs, and industry relations. Neil has devoted his career to creating and leading high-stakes and complex political, public policy and media campaigns in New York and nationally.
Prior to joining Cornell Tech, Neil was on the public affairs team at AT&T. He holds a bachelor of science degree from the Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations, and he is a First Mover fellow with the Aspen Institute.
The Robinson-Appel Humanitarian Awards recognize and honor undergraduate students who have had significant involvement in community engagement by providing support for their projects, which address a community’s social needs or problems.
