This semester, undergraduates in the Cornell SC Johnson College of Business are organizing immigration discussions with the Tompkins County Office of Human Rights, learning about ways to address the affordable housing crisis and exploring bottle-reuse solutions for the New York wine industry.

All of these projects are part of the Grand Challenges Program, a signature community-engaged learning program in the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management. The Grand Challenges Program gives Dyson students an unparalleled real-world, engaging learning experience — and a chance to make a meaningful difference in communities near and far. The Einhorn Center has supported the Grand Challenges Program and its leaders through grants, the Engaged Faculty Fellowship Program and our Engaged College Initiative with the SC Johnson College.
