Cornell Duffield Engineering

Developing the knowledge, capabilities and people needed to forge a better future

The Engaged Engineering framework is an innovative approach combining their strengths in experiential learning with impactful community partnerships, providing multiple pathways for students to experience community-engaged learning at a range of scales with a variety of collaborators. Consistent with its deep roots in Cornell’s land-grant mission, Duffield Engineering aims for all of their undergraduates to participate in high-quality community-engaged learning experiences, enabling them to become technically proficient, socially conscious leaders equipped to address the world’s most pressing challenges.
