Olivia Ochoa is a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences. She is double majoring in Spanish and American studies, with a minor in Latino studies. Her parents are immigrants from Mexico and she grew in the Chicagoland area, and her work platforms the role of language within the immigrant experience. Her primary extracurricular involvements are as the co-president of the Translator-Interpreter Program (TIP), student intern at the Latino Studies Resource Center and Posse scholar, just to name a few.
